Do you sometimes feel that you would like to create an outfit that has a wow factor? An outfit that looks unique and well put together?
In this post, I will teach you a method that can help you create that wow factor outfit. I call it the ‘Orange and Blue’ concept. I love teaching this mix and match concept to my clients because it works every single time and will guarantee lots of compliments from the people around you.
When it comes to colour combinations, blue and orange is a very unlikely combination, yet it works brilliantly! Blue and orange is regularly used as a colour scheme in interiors. Fashion is no exception.
Simply speaking, any shade of blue (such as navy, powder blue, cobalt blue, etc.) will work well with any shade of orange (such as tan, nude, etc.).
There are three ways you can put together an outfit using this scheme:
Trousers (or skirts) in blue or orange matched with a top in the opposite colour can work amazingly well together. Be sure to wear the colour you think looks best on you on your top half. Pair with nude open shoes, a simple silver or gold chain and a powder blue bag.
THE PLAIN DRESS
A fitted or a-line dress in cobalt blue can sometimes look quite plain. Add a splash of orange in your shoes, a patterned bag containing the colour orange and a chunky necklace in gold or silver. That is some wow factor right there!
THE PATTERNED DRESS
A pattered dress containing blue and orange doesn’t need much accessorising. The colours and patterns will do the job for you. Finish off this look by adding a nude shoulder bag and powder blue open shoes.
Try it out sometime, it works every time!
